Upcoming Event , Friday, Sept 27th.
"The Alberta Cowboy Poetry Association was established to promote and preserve our rich Western Heritage through Cowboy Poetry, Western Music and Story Telling. The ACPA will host a Flood Relief Benefit in the historic Priddis community hall, Friday, September 27. All proceeds will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross, Alberta Flood Relief Program.
Here is a chance to support the flood victims in our community and to share an evening of top Western intertainment with your friends and neighbors. The evening will feature cowboy poets, Western songs and music, comedy and trick roping. There will be door prizes and silent auctions, where you will have a chance to win or bid on Western art, award winning books and CD's and you might even win a block of time from one of the entertainers for your own business or private venue.
The evening includes complimentary tea or coffee, with cake served during intermission. The View and Brew and Waters Edge Pub will feature a dinner special from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Both restaurants are adjacent to the Priddis hall.
Tickets are only $20.00 each and can be reserved by calling Linda at 403-931-2681.
Hope to see you all there to support this worthy event."
