I've been a Comedy Cowboy for

Years, Since October 16, 2005.Here's some history; I Showcased for the Calgary Stampede, added videos to youtube, started a website and this blog. Performed at; the Premier's Cowboy event at the Canadian Finals Rodeo, Kamloops and Sundre Cowboy Festivals, Events at Alberta and Saskatchewan Royal Museums, Heritage Park, Fort Edmonton, Stampede Grounds, M.C. the Millarville Music Festival, Did the Grand Opening of the Cross Irons Mills Mall, Performed at many private and Corporate events. Joined the Alberta Cowboy Poetry Association. I have been HONORED to be recommend by The Calgary Stampede, Canadian Cowboy Country Magazine, Heritage Park and others. Met a lot of nice folks, practiced lots and have learn some of the ROPES. The most interesting review l have gotten so far was from Ward Willard the World Champion Chuckwagon Driver he saw me and said "You dress like Roy Rogers " Thanks, It's been a GREAT RIDE. "Here's Hoping.l'm Roping for you Someday" because the best is yet to come.

My New Best Friend

I've seen this guy and had coffee with him. You know there's nothing like a good comedy act and he is nothing like a good comedy act, lol. Old Ugly is great, just watch his audience and you'll know. The only thing l didn't like about his show was all the laughter and applause he got. I hope to be like him, IF l grow up.

I was in High River and visited their graves . From the top: Flores La Due's, then Guy's , then them both. Guy Weadick helped start the Calgary Stampede. Both Guy and Flores where Trick Ropers.

Tonight's Movie Premiere

Calgary Movie Premiere

This Thursday Sept 24 at 7 pm a Screening of Geo Takach's documentary, "Will the Real Alberta please stand up ? " is at the Glenbow Museum Theatre 130-9th Avenue SE. Calgary. This Movie was showed Canada wide on CityTv June 12.
I'm honored to be in the company of Award Winning,Cowgirl Poet, Doris Daley,Senator,Tommy Banks, the Honorable Normie Kwong & Ralph Klein,as well as Corb Lund and many other Writers,Artists and Musicians Etc discussing the truth behind the tall tales about Alberta.

A Hero Dies

My Old Trick Roping Friend, Frank Holt called to tell me that Sylvester Braun died at 93 years of age.I met Sylvester and his wife Barbara in California at the Will Rogers Ranch back in 1991 at a West West Arts Club Convention.Barbara die in 2008,they had been married for almost 56 years.Sylvester was a True Gentleman and l will never forget him.
